Fitting Steps
- Decontaminate the panel and wipe with isopropyl alcohol to remove wax, oil and dust.
- Apply a slip solution to both the adhesive side and the paint surface.
- Lay the film and slide it into position while the surface stays wet.
- Squeegee outward from the center to push out liquid and trapped air.
- Use a heat gun on the edges and stretch the film around curved panels.
- Leave the vehicle dry for 24 hours; postpone washing for a full week.
Upkeep Advice
- Hand wash with mild automotive shampoo; keep pressure washers away from film edges for the first week.
- Skip abrasive polishes and solvent-based waxes on the wrapped surface.
- Refresh scratched areas with water heated to 60-70°C to trigger self-healing.
