Look at a finished car from the front and the glass reads green. Walk around to the side and it turns purple. Nothing was sprayed and no dye was added, the sheet itself carries that shift because of how its layers are built. It is the same idea as a soap bubble changing colour in sunlight, applied to automotive glass.
What looks like a styling trick is also a working film. It keeps most of the sun out, holds the cabin cooler in summer traffic and protects the interior from UV damage, while the glass still stays clear enough to drive with at night.
Very thin oxide layers are stacked on the polyester base, thinner than a human hair. Light hits that stack, part of it bounces back and part travels through, and the two waves meet again at a slightly different angle. The colour you see is the result of that meeting, which is why it changes with your viewing position and with the light outside.
Because the effect lives in the structure rather than in a pigment, it does not wash out the way dyed tint does. Sun exposure does not turn it brown, and cleaning does not wear the colour off.

The 80% option is the popular one for front side glass and windshields, because daylight and night vision stay close to bare glass while the heat and UV load drops. Lower options give a darker look on rear cabin glass.
We are the manufacturer, not a trading office. Coating, lamination, slitting and packing run inside the same factory, which keeps the colour consistent from roll to roll and keeps the price at factory level.
Ask for a short piece and try it on a spare panel or a scrap rear screen. Every market has its own rules for front glass, so check the local limit on visible light transmission before you commit to a shade, and always fit with a professional installer.
1. What is the difference between this and a normal tint?
A normal tint gives one fixed shade, usually darker glass. This film adds a colour shifting layer on top, so the glass changes tone as you move around the car, and the sun blocking stays strong.
2. Will it pass inspection where I live?
It depends on the visible light rules in your country. The lighter options keep the glass bright and are the safer choice for front windows and windshields, so check the local limit first and choose accordingly.
3. Does the colour wear off after a few summers?
No. The colour comes from the layer structure, not from a dye that fades, and the roll carries an eight year warranty.
4. Can I still see clearly at night?
Yes. From inside the car the film reads as a light tint with very little haze, so mirrors and road markings stay easy to read in the dark.
5. How do I order a sample, and what is the smallest order?
Samples can be sent for evaluation before you buy. The minimum order is one roll, and standard shades ship in three to seven working days.
